Roanoke College Summer Institute
The Roanoke College Summer Institute (RCSI) is a four-week program (July 2 - 29) for college credit. It is designed to provide a true college experience and ease the transition from high school to college life. RCSI combines engaging courses with peer mentoring, athletic and social programming, along with college preparatory workshops to promote a strong foundation to start college. From developing time management skills to preparing college application essays, experts will provide valuable instruction to complement the curricular and co-curricular experience.
Who is RCSI for?
RCSI is for rising high school juniors and seniors interested in having an immersive college experience, being academically challenged while earning college credit, and working towards a smooth transition into the academic and social life of college. Cost: $2,500 (includes tuition, room and board)
While financial aid is not available for this program, those students who successful complete the program and enroll in Roanoke College as a regular student will receive a $2500 scholarship toward their tuition.

Applications are being accepted for the 2017 Summer Institute with a deadline of May 15, 2017. Space is limited - apply today.
The RCSI admissions committee is looking for mature, academically motivated students who will graduate from high school in 2018 or 2019. Students must be at least 15 years old to apply.
Several courses are available and successful completion earns the student college credit for the course. A few positions are also available for students interested in gaining research experience while earning college credit. See the course options.
