Hall of Fame
Alvin H. Smith '52
Inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame 1971.
- In 1949, he was selected the Monogram Club Athlete of the Year
- Led the Maroons to the Mason Dixon Cross Country title in 1949 and to the State AAU championship
- Held the State AAU title for the mile run and set college records in the mile, 880, and two-mile events
- In 1950-51, he assisted as a coach for both cross country and track and field
