Douglas G. Chapman '20
Inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame 1972.
- President of the Monogram Club in 1919
- An outstanding competitor in both football and baseball
- Captain of the football team in 1918 and '19
- Captain of the baseball teams in 1919 and '20
- Carried a four year batting average of over .300
- Won the coveted Panathlon Medal in 1919
- For 36 years, he served as Chief of Medicine at St. Elizabeths Hospital in Richmond, and as a professor of medicine at the Medical College of Virginia
- A past president of the Richmond Academy of Medicine
