Edwin K. Harless '50
Inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame 1972.
- Member of the Monogram Club
- Participated in three varsity sports at Roanoke
- Lettered four years in basketball
- Co-captain for the cagers in 1949 and ’50
- Member of the All-State team as a senior
- Was among the top-20 in nation in foul shooting percentage
- Head basketball coach and assistant football coach at Andrew Lewis High School for six years
- Member of Southwest Virginia Basketball Officials Association
- In 1971-72, he received the Roanoke Valley Kiwanis Award as "Basketball Official of the Year"
