Hall of Fame

Inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame 1971.

• Recipient of seven varsity letters
• Captained the basketball team in 1920-21
• Starter on the Mid-Atlantic Championship team of 1918-19
• One of Roanoke’s baseball greats, playing shortstop, second base and third base
• Performed as a varsity end on the football team
• Life has been dedicated to athletics and to young people
• It is largely through his efforts and guidance that this Athletic Hall of Fame is a reality
