Gene H. Studebaker '39

Inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame 1971.

  • A forward on the "Five Smart Boys," he broke a Madison Square Garden scoring record at the National Invitational Tournament in 1939
  • Named to the All-State team in 1939
  • Vice president of the Monogram Club
  • President of Student Athletic Council
  • Manager of varsity football squad from 1937-39
  • A varsity tennis player during his sophomore, junior, and senior years
