OCHELTREE NAMED TO FIRST TEAM ALL-REGION SQUAD
Senior Led the Maroons in Scoring, Hoffmeister Earns Second Team Selection

SALEM, VA--Roanoke College senior Emily Ocheltree (Richmond, VA/Douglas Freeman) has been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division III First Team All-South Region team. The team, which was released on Thursday afternoon, also had Roanoke senior Jill Hoffmeister (Norfolk, MA/The Rivers School) on the Third Team.

Ocheltree, who with her First Team All-Region honors becomes eligible for All-American accolades, completed her senior season with a career-high 35 points to lead all Maroon players. She figured into 22 of the team’s 57 goals this season, scoring 13 and assisting on nine others. She also led the team with five game-winning goals. A First Team All-ODAC selection last season as well, Ocheltree completed her career with 93 points, the fourth highest total in team history. She also ranks fifth in all-time goals (35) at RC and third in assists (23).

Hoffmeister completed the year with 30 points on 10 goals and 10 assists, upping her college career record point total to 144. She ended her career as the team’s all-time leader in goals scored (61) and fourth in assists (22).
