The Hornets scored five more times in the first half to take a 6-2 lead into the break.
Linda Jack (Riva, MD/South River) put the Hornets up, 7-2, early in the first, but the Maroons again responded with a goal from freshman Erin Costello (Villanova, PA/Radnor), closing the gap back to four, 7-3.
