Bridgewater Men, Roanoke Women Win ODAC Track Championships
Eagles Hold Off Lynchburg, Maroons Claim Second Title of the Year

SALEM, Va. --- It was a scene of new and old on Saturday afternoon at the 2008 ODAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Roanoke College’s C. Homer Bast Track. Bridgewater College unseated Lynchburg College for the top spot on the men’s side with its seventh overall team title and first since 1997. On the women’s side, Roanoke College remained supreme as the Maroons claimed their second ODAC track championship of the year (paired with indoors), marking the squads fourth overall and second straight outdoor title.
