Dear Colleague,

This year marks the 12th Annual Region 2 Eastern Council of Business Schools and Programs Meeting. Please join us on Friday, November 7th and Saturday, November 8th at the Harrisburg Area Community College in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Hotel arrangements have been made with the Best Western, 300 North Mountain Road, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.  Please note the October 24, 2003 deadline for room reservations under the group rate. The group rate also applies for Saturday night for those who wish to stay over after the conference.

Our theme this fall is “Getting Better Than Ever.”  In keeping with our national focus, this year’s regional meeting will provide us with an excellent opportunity to concentrate on how we can make our programs and our ACBSP “Better Than Ever.”  My experience has been that this kind of networking is one of the most useful benefits of membership in ACBSP.

Dynamic speaker Steve Coscia, of Coscia Communications Inc., will give the keynote address at dinner.   Special guest Executive Director Doug Viehland will present ACBSP updates during the business meeting.  As usual, our regional committees are scheduled to meet during breakfast on Saturday morning prior to our business meeting.   The after lunch sessions are not optional ones this year and will include presentations from the national office.

See you November 7th and 8th in Harrisburg!

Sincerely,

Melanie A. Brown, President

Eastern Council of Business Schools and Programs
