» Roanoke Welcomes Dr. O'Hara
Dr. Sabine U. O'Hara will be offically installed as Roanoke College's 10th president on October 14 following an exciting week of inauguration events.

The Roanoke campus is bustling with construction activity! Building projects and renovation projects can be seen all the way from the practice field north of the Bast Center to the new entrance next to Olin Hall and across campus to the Trout Hall.

» WELCOME CLASS OF 2008
The class of 2008 is one of the most diverse in college's history. The class of 488 new students and transfer students included sixty new minority freshmen – a Roanoke record.

» GRANTS
Alcohol Intervention Grant and NCAA Grant awarded in support of college programs.

» MAROONS TRAVEL THE GLOBE
RC Men's Soccer team (tied for 25th place nationally) traveled to Brazil for pre-season action, while the women (ranked 5th in the South) went to Speyer, Germany.
