SGA UPDATE FROM LAURA BRAATEN '05

The SGA has wrapped up the fall semester in a great way. Recently, we sponsored a faculty-staff-student dialogue dinner to encourage dialogue among the groups about making Roanoke an "ideal learning community." We continued rewarding faculty members for their efforts in teaching with the "Faculty Member of the Month" award.

The SGA also coordinated a leadership retreat early in the semester that brought together leaders from all over campus to promote conversation among organizations. In addition, we concluded the library improvement initiative with getting new computers in the third floor lab and vending machines on the first floor. Look for it next time you’re on campus!
