The Spanish Minor

A minor in Spanish consists of six units, including:

Spanish 201 and 201, or two electives above the 205 level;
Spanish 301 and 302;
Spanish 311 or 312 or 313 or 315;
One elective to be selected from Spanish courses numbered at or above the 300 level or Linguistics 201.

Each minor will be individually tailored to complement the student's interests and major field of study.

A period of study abroad in a Spanish-speaking country is highly recommended. Students are encouraged to consider the opportunities available through ISEP and MAY TERM courses, and to consult with a department faculty member and the Director of International Programs about the many options.
