Film: "A Thousand Voices" with producer Pamela Pierce '72, CEO of Silver Bullet Productions
Audience members will view "A Thousand Voices," a documentary film that builds from thousands of voices to present one universal story of New Mexico's Native American women. Native American women have been purveyors of culture since creation. From the beginning of time through the invasions from Spain, Mexico and the Unites States, their power remains and their story continues. They remain strong and grounded in traditional values by enduring courage and wisdom. "A Thousand Voices" is the winner of four awards in the 2015 New Mexico Film Fiesta: Grand Prize, Best Documentary, Best Directing and Best Cinematography.
The film was produced by Silver Bullet Productions, a non-profit educational film company in Santa Fe, New Mexico. There will be a discussion after the film with producer Pamela Pierce '72 CEO of Silver Bullet Productions.
