1) GST should not be separated from the rest of gen.ed.;

2) the statement must be counched in terms of what students get,not what we provide;

3) a more workable outline would begin with gen. ed., then go to specialized areas of study (majors), and conclude with personal growth issues.

4) to avoid a lot of thrashing about in group, it was agreed that Zorn would draft a working document based on the above understanding for the next meeting. The document will be circulated before the next meeting.

5) the next meeting will be the 16th, 3:30, in the language lab seminar room.
