Institutional Purpose Committee Minutes of the Meeting of September 8, 1999 Present: Garren, Bansemer, Kalinoski, Marsh, Maxey, M. Miller, J. Steehler, Zorn, Cissel, Lambert The Committee meeting began at 2:45 p.m. in the Alumni House. Several individual drafts of a revised purpose statement were distributed. The Committee broke into two smaller groups to discuss the various statements. After due consideration, the Committee reconvened as a whole and came to a decision about the final format and wording (with a few content and editorial suggestions) of the Institutional Purpose Statement. Zorn and Lambert were charged with editing and creating a final Draft #2 of the statement to be circulated among Committee members for final input/approval.
