Institutional Purpose Committee Minutes of the Meeting of November 3, 1999 Present: P. Butler, C. Cissel, K. Garren, C. Kalinoski, L. Lambert, G. Marsh, M. Maxey, M. Miller, H. Zorn The Committee discussed all written comments received from students, staff, and faculty. Changes we made in the 9/10/99 draft based upon input from the community. A final version of the Instititional Purpose statement was agreed upon. A copy will be circulated to the Committee for final approval. Leslie will take the final approved statement of purpose to the SACS Steering Committee on Monday, November 8. Our Committee recommends that the Chair of the SACS Steering Committee request that the Faculty Affairs Committee enter the Institutional Purpose Statement on the November 30, 1999 Faculty Meeting agenda for discussion and approval.
