Self-Study Steering Committee

Minutes of the Meeting of
March 1, 1999

Present: Bloss, Garren, Kalinoski, Lambert, Larsen, Weiss, Whitson

1. Committee members discussed Dr. Dwyer's visit and the information that he shared about the self-study process. Everyone agreed that the visit was a positive start for the self-study.

2. The Committee endorsed the proposed committee structure for the self-study. Composition of committees was discussed, and several objectives (e.g., divisional representativeness and mix of junior and senior faculty) were identified. Suggestions were made for certain committees.

3. Charges for committees were discussed and some slight modifications were suggested and made.

4. The meeting adjourned at 4:00 p.m.
