The meeting of the Subcommittee on Intensive Learning Mechanisms began at 1:00 p.m.
The subcommittee reviewed the schedule for Charles Toomajian, the IL consultant from Williams, who will be on campus next Wednesday and Thursday.
Members responded positively to Draft #11 of the IL Assessment Plan.
The subcommittee reviewed the IL Assessment Matrix by considering what could be learned from each of the proposed mechanisms. This led to some additional discussion of the objectives and refinement of the matrix. Scott will revise the Assessment Plan and Greg will revise Toomajian's schedule and the matrix. In the next month Scott and Dan will work on specific items for the IL assessment mechanisms and then share them with the entire committee for discussion.
The next meeting of the entire committee will be Tuesday, Feb. 1 at 8:30 a.m.
