Scott reviewed work on IL. Assessment measures will be administered to on-campus students at the end of May Term and to students who travelled at the beginning of fall semester. He met with on-campus students to generate ideas for programming for the term. The Strategic Study Committee IL objectives have been accomplished.

Gail reviewed work on CCLS. She discussed possible changes in the CCLS program based on assessment conducted this year. She will be meeting with the Task Force later today to further identify program changes. The Strategic Study's CCLS objectives have been accomplished.

Greg updated the committee on the National Survey of Student Engagement. As of two weeks ago, the national response rate was 27% and Roanoke's return rate was 28%. Committee members acknowledged that our students--especially first-year students--have been over-surveyed this year. By next year, a more reasonable schedule will be developed.

The Strategic Study Report will be written in June. When it is completed, members will be notified so that they can review and make suggestions. The finalized report must be completed by August 1. The committee will meet again in the fall.

Greg thanked the committee for their hard work and enthusiasm. Much has been accomplished, and hopefully the final report will convey that effort and accomplishment.
