Due to our continued growth and customer demand we are currently recruiting for a qualified, interested and available Electrical Engineer III for an opportunity located in Warren, New Jersey. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Independently evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria, using judgment in making adaptations and modifications; Assignments have clear and specified objectives; Develops own resources to solve problems and provides imaginative solutions to a variety of moderately complex problems; Assumes responsibility for a definable portion of a project; Performs FPGA and digital hardware engineering assignments that typically involve the design, development, evaluation, modification and analysis techniques resulting in new/updated components or products; and Project areas may include VHDL design entry, system simulation and verification, digital hardware design and development and testing of control, signal processing, interface and communication functions within a variety of FPGA platforms.
QUALIFICATIONS: BSEE or related four (4) year technical degree with coursework in signal processing or communications related field; Five (5) to seven (7) years of work experience in FPGA design; Good time management skills; Must possess good oral/written communication skills; and Able to effectively work on project teams consisting of departmental and/or cross-functional personnel.
