The field of service in which there is a current opening available is either listed under Administrative Services, Medical Services, or one of the seven Region Ten service centers.
Benefits are available for all salaried positions and for hourly positions that are regularly scheduled for 20 or more hours per week. Access to auto, valid Virginia Driver’s license, and proof of insurance and current DMV driving record are required for all positions that involve transporting consumers.
CENTER FOR ACCESS AND CASE MANAGEMENT
Case Manager
Professional level position with responsibility for providing case management services, primarily to adults recovering from serious mental illness. Duties include assisting individuals in accessing community resources: assessing needs and creating Individual Services Plans: and coordinating services with other providers.
Bachelor's degree and one year experience in human services or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Valid VA driver's license and acceptable driving record is required. Salary is $36,651.41.
CENTER FOR ADULT REHABILITATION SERVICES
MHSS Provider III (Dual Recovery Center)
Seeking individual to work with dually diagnosed clients at DRC Position available for enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to provide skills training and support to adults experiencing functional limitations resulting from severe mental illnesses. Services are designed to enable individuals to remain living independently in the community and include (but are not limited to) training in the areas of health and safety; activities of daily living; medication management; and the development of meaningful interpersonal relationships. Applicants must have at least a Bachelor's degree in a human services field with two years experience preferred. A valid
Virginia Driver's License and acceptable driving record is required. Salary is $30,924.25.
CENTER FOR CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES
Case Manager (Child and Adolescent)
Responsible for case management services to individuals under age of eighteen with primary diagnosis of intellectual disability, emotional disturbance or at risk of either. Assesses and develops plan to meet needs; serves as liaison between client/family and service providers; monitors ongoing services and provides advocacy, consultation and education to client, families, and community. A bachelor's degree and at least two years related experience in the human services field is required. Schedule is Monday through Friday 9 - 5. Valid Virginia Driver's license and acceptable driving record is required. Salary is $36,651.41.
Clinician, Outpatient (Safe School/Healthy Students)
Mental health/substance abuse counselor needed to provide services on-site for students at Charlottesville High School as part of Safe Schools-Healthy Students project. Services include crisis intervention, short term counseling, and case management. Master's degree in behavioral health field and two years of experience with high school population (or equivalent) required. This is a grant funded position. Salary negotiable based on experience. Salary is $40,468.78.
CENTER FOR RURAL SERVICES
Case Manager (Nelson)
Nelson Counseling Center is seeking a Case Manager. Duties include: Assessing needs and planning services, evaluating individual strengths and the appropriateness of and need for various community mental health services, developing individual service plans, and monitoring and evaluating client status. Bachelor’s degree in
human services field is required. Two years experience is preferred. Valid Virginia Driver's License and acceptable driving record is required. Salary is $36,651.41.
Case Manager, MH/MR Fluvanna
Become part of an exciting, growing team in Fluvanna County. Work in a rural setting with great team players and recovery focused services. Services include working with each individual to assess their needs, develop goals, and enhance community integration. Bachelor's degree and one year experience working with the mental health population required. Experience with intellectually disabled population preferred. Valid Virginia Driver's License and acceptable driving record is required. Schedule is 8:30-5pm Monday-Friday. Salary is $36,651.41.
Clinician, In-Home Hourly (Louisa)
Provide intensive in-home counseling services to consumers in the Louisa community. Provide evaluation and assessment services, crisis treatment, individual and family counseling, 24 hour emergency response, case management services, and parenting and communication skills training. A Virginia Driver's License and acceptable driving record are required. A master's degree in human services field is preferred. Licensure preferred. This is an as needed position. Hourly rate is $19.46.
MEDICAL SERVICES
Clinical Nurse Practitioner (50%)
Clinical Nurse Practitioner needed for our Wellness Recovery Center, Region Ten's crisis stabilization program working with Region Ten psychiatrist providing psychiatric and health evaluations and providing follow up care. He/she provides supervision and consultation to other members of the clinical staff and other agencies by review of case presentations, disposition meetings and collaboration in treatment planning especially in the areas of differential diagnosis, treatment, neurological, medical, and medico-legal issues. Schedule is primarily Monday to Friday during day with some flexibility. Salary negotiable.
