Purpose:
Under the supervision of the General Manager is responsible for development and sustaining local revenue sources using creative non-traditional programs to penetrate the business community at the highest level through involvement with the cultural arts community.
Duties and Resposibilities:
1. Development and implementating highly professional and ethical marketing practices and procedures.
2. Develop strategic and promotional alliances with key organizations which will integrate the 101.5 the music place audience with the identified constituencies in order to create audience and advertiser synergies allowing for revenue creation.
3. Coordinate with other departments within the radio station to identify community activities and events for possible revenue potential.
4. Under the direction of the General Manager, will be responsible for creating and successful execution of local revenue strategies and associated expense budgets.
5. Collects delinquent or overdue accounts receivable for their individual clients.
6. Attends any special event, promotion or remote broadcast which he has personally sold, and when possible attends any special station promotions for the purpose of gaining personal knowledge.
Education and Experience:
Previous sales experience preferred. College Degree preferred. Applicant must possess a valid state driver's license.
