Assistant Professor of Psychology
Description
Roanoke College seeks applicants for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in psychology beginning August 2013. Successful candidates will have experience and interest in teaching statistics and research methods. Ability to contribute in an applied area such as industrial-organizational, health, consumer or human factors psychology is desired. Teaching responsibilities include participation in the college’s general education program. The teaching load is 3 courses per semester with a May term course every third year. Research and professional development are expected. Preference will be given to those who can engage undergraduates in their research and who can attract external funding. A Ph.D. is required.
