for Government Doc Users
Fintel Library is a "federal depository library". In 1886, it
was designated by Congress to provide access to U.S. government
publications. All depository material remains the property of
the Federal government.
As one of the
seven
depository Libraries in Virginia's 6th congressional district,
we are backed up by the University of Virginias Library which is the
"Regional Library" for our state.

- As
a Government Depository Library we provide guests full rights,
without cost, to access and use Depository materials.

Computer workstations in the Reference area are always logged-in
to the Library's webpage, allowing immediate access to "online
only" documents.
- Guests
are requested to limit their use of printing paper and to save
documents to disks or via e-mail. Donations of 10
cents/page are appreciated for print jobs exceeding 10 pages -
please pay at the Circulation Desk.
- Guests
are expected to comply with college policies regarding behavior
and to appropriately use library
resources and equipment.
- A Guest
Borrower's Card is required in order to use library
resources outside the building.
(Hollins University students may use their ID card)
