Instructions. This is due on March 22 at the beginning of class. It is worth 20 points. Late papers lose 4 points if turned in by class time Monday plus 3 points per additional day late. You must work by yourself, but feel free to consult with me. You may use the TI-89 to evaluate integrals. Explain what you did and why you did it: good explanations are essential! Start early, ask questions and do well.

Problems. Work exercise #59 on page 520 and sketch a graph of your final solution. As part of your introduction to the problem, explain what force the term -32 corresponds to and what force the term 0.003v² corresponds to. There is a fair amount of algebra in this problem; show all steps!
