Faculty & Staff Resources
Return to Roanoke
Find all of the latest information about returning to work here.
- Any faculty or staff member can call (540-375-2286) or email (email@example.com) our office to get connected with a licensed mental health provider for a brief consultation. All confidentiality guidelines apply. Visits can be conducted by phone or telehealth (live video/phone). An employee may make a telehealth appointment if they would like to talk through what they are experiencing, and/or to access coping skills and resources.
- RC Community Chats. This option was designed to bring faculty and staff members together virtually to provide support to each other as well as to share ideas, such as ways to cope with the stress and isolation as a result of the current pandemic. Our first meeting will be next Wednesday, 4/1/20, at 2pm and will be hosted by Mollie Guzo and Colleen Quigley. Faculty and/or staff members wishing to participate in the discussion must contact Colleen Quigley at firstname.lastname@example.org. If this date and time does not work for you, please email Colleen to let her know you are interested in participated, but unable to attend this particular meeting. She’ll be working with those interested to schedule alternative meeting dates and times. The first meeting will be held through Zoom. Telephone/ conference calls are also an option for future meetings.
- Don’t forget faculty and staff still have the option of utilizing our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through Advantage EAP as well. You can reach them by calling 540-989-6605 or 800-699-9396.
