Commencement Day: Saturday, May 4, 10:00 a.m., John R. Turbyfill Quadrangle
Roanoke College Front Lawn--please note that guest tickets are not required on Front Quad; Severe inclement weather location is Salem Civic Center. Tickets are not required.
Coffee and pastries will be available on the Back Quad starting at 8:00 AM, and cookies and beverages will be available for graduates and guests after the Commencement ceremony on the Back Quad.
The Roanoke College Food Truck will be parked on College Avenue at Main Street on Saturday morning with a selection of refreshments for purchase, including energy drinks, protein/energy bars, and assorted packaged chips and cookies. Maroon Money is accepted as well as cash or credit/debit card. Rooney's Brews, located in the Fintel Library, will also have a limited beverage menu for purchase prior to the ceremony's 10 AM start.
Roanoke College Campus Store (lower level of Colket Center) is open from 7 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and then reopens after the ceremony ends until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday
Light refreshments will be available for graduates and guests after the Commencement ceremony on the Back Quad.
Parents and guests should plan to arrive on Friday, May 3, to participate in all activities.
