St. John's Community Youth Program

Baptist Friendship House

Catholic Charities Refugee Resettlement 

The mission of Commonwealth Catholic Charities is to provide quality, compassionate human services to all people, especially the most vulnerable, regardless of faith. Roanoke College students work to assist new residents with English Language Learning. Contact Hannah Matranga, 530-503-7391. 

Blue Ridge Literacy 

The mission of Blue Ridge Literacy is to support achievement of life goals by providing opportunities to strengthen literacy skills to adults in western Virginia. We provide Basic Literacy (BL) services, ESOL services, and GED preparation tutoring. Contact Hannah Matranga, 530-503-7391.
