Roanoke Community Garden Association 

This Roanoke area Non-Profit provides garden plots, seeds, tools and educational opportunities to community members in six different parts of the city, allowing people to grow their own food for health and socioeconomic benefit. Contact Mackay Pierce, 423-383-2699. 

Samaritan Inn 

A Day Shelter that provides breakfast and lunch to homeless men and women in the Roanoke Valley six days a week. Contact Megan O'Neill, 301-471-9982. 

The Roanoke Rescue Mission 

The Rescue Mission is a Christ-centered, grassroots organization offering programs to help people physically, psychologically, socially and spiritually.
