R House

The College has had a relationship with Habitat for Humanity in the Roanoke Valley for over 30 years, sending volunteers to help build new homes for families in the area. In 2005, the R House program expanded this relationship and made Habitat an integral part of our freshman orientation experience at Roanoke. The program gives new students the opportunity to help create a tangible change in their new community and introduces them to the active citizenship that we strive for here at Roanoke.
