Mission Statement

The Office of Human Resources at Roanoke College is a customer-service based department committed to working strategically with the College community in identifying and responding to the ever-changing needs of its highly productive and motivated workforce. We provide leadership and guidance in the development, implementation and equitable administration of policies and procedures as well as compensation and benefit plans thus fostering a positive work environment. As a Department, we seek to be recognized as a team of knowledgeable professionals who bring a wealth of resources to the College community by promoting excellent customer service, equitable and fair management practices while maintaining the Vision, Purpose and Mission of Roanoke College.
