Biography:
- Chad Morris is a Professor of Anthropology at Roanoke College. Dr. Morris has a B.S. from Centre College in Anthropology/Sociology and Biology, a M.A. in Anthropology from the University of Memphis and a Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Kentucky. He serves as co-coordinator of Roanoke College’s Anthropology Concentration and contributes to the College's programs in Public Health Studies and Sociology. His current research agenda includes investigating and promoting community-driven means of improving rates of cancer screening in the Micronesian Republic of Palau. He has also worked alongside Roanoke College students and Palauan officials to conduct household and school-based research about dietary practice and public health promotion. Dr. Morris has additional research expertise in public health coalition development and practice, indoor environmental health, cross-cultural perspectives on organ and tissue donation, immigrant access to health care, food and cult
