Our purpose is to present an overview of the "green" plans and practices currently underway at Roanoke College. Some items have far reaching effect and some very minor. All are an effort to continue our path toward environmental responsibility and "green awareness".

Roanoke named to The Princeton Review's Guide to 332 Green Colleges

Roanoke College is one of the 332 most environmentally responsible colleges in the United State and Canada, according to The Princeton Review. Read more

Roanoke receives Pride in Salem Green Awards

Roanoke College has been awarded one of three Pride in Salem Green Awards for energy-efficient renovations on campus. Roanoke was nominated for the renovations of Lucas Hall, our first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified building.
