The Environment Center connects humans and nature through place-based learning, research, and service. 

We are  

  • An outdoor classroom and laboratory for experiential multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary study  
  • A research area for long-term environmental restoration  
  • A community fostering environmental responsibility and sustainability

        This interactive workshop, the first of a two-part event, is intended to train researchers to better communicate their work with people outside of their field. Folks from all programs are encouraged to attend!
