"Beyond Sovereignty" Film Screening and Q&A

Roanoke College student, Al Cavagnaro, '23, a political science major, presents a screening of his distinction project film Beyond Sovereignty.  Beyond Sovereignty documents his trip to Israel to research housing issues between the Israeli and Palestinian communities in the East Jerusalem neighborhood Sheikh Jarrah.  The film features interviews with several well-known lawyers, political figures, and the displaced al-Sabbagh Family, alongside Roanoke College faculty members, to delve into the matter in question.  Al will host a Q & A and panel, after the hour-long film with the guest appearances by faculty Middle East experts, Dr. Jonathan Snow and Dr. Robert Willingham.
