Center for Civic and Religious Pluralism
Mission Statement
At the Center for Civic and Religious Pluralism, our mission is to cultivate a campus environment where individuals of all perspectives are welcomed, respected, and engaged in dialogue about the beliefs, values, and commitments that shape our shared civic life. We focus especially on the intersections of religious, spiritual, and secular worldviews with the responsibility of living in a democracy. We are dedicated to enriching the educational experience through campus programming, curriculum, and research. Our goal is to build religious and civic literacy, cooperation across difference, and empathetic understanding so that together, we create a more just, compassionate world.
In 2025–2026, the Center’s activities are partially funded by a generous grant from CICV and Interfaith America.
