Add a Minor or Double Major
Make yourself stand out and individualize your education at the same time. Popular minors for Biologists are Spanish, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Studio Arts, Psychology, and Environmental Studies. If one major is not enough for you, be like other Maroons and combine a B.A. in Biology with Public Health or Spanish or Environmental Studies or make you own Major Mash Up.
-
Complete an Internship
Sounds hard but it is so easy. Earn academic credit with a paid or unpaid internship or even an appropriate summer job. There are so many choices from interning at the Bradley Free Clinic to the Mill Mountain Zoo. Ask your advisor or Career Services about how to find an internship. Here is the form to earn credit.

Study Away
Spend a semester or a year on the other side of the world. We have many types of Study Away programs. Students' favorite Study Away adventures have been in Europe, New Zealand and Australia.
