Salem Red Sox
This minor league baseball team has its home stadium right across from Elizabeth Campus. Roanoke College students can get discounted admission and enjoy a night of popcorn and peanuts at the ballpark.

The Salem Fair is the largest fair in the state and has been recognized as one of the top 100 fairs and expositions in the country.
Farmers Market

Olde Salem Days
Every fall, Salem hosts a premiere arts and crafts festival. Craft and artisan vendors, classic cars, and food vendors fill the streets of downtown Salem for a fun-filled day that also raises funds for community service projects.
