The inaugural Maroon Connections: Alumni Career Fair will take place on Thursday, April 12, the week of alumni weekend, on the main floor of the Colket Center.
This networking event will be mutually beneficial to alumni and students. Alumni from all over the country will have tables to inform about their organization, potential careers and internship programs available to students and other recent graduates.
Students can find available jobs and potential internships through this event as well as network with alumni in their desired field and seek advice about how to succeed in the job application process.
"This fair will be a great way for our alumni and students to build stronger connections and to learn from one another during a special time for all Maroons," says event coordinator Jonathan Lee, Roanoke College director of alumni engagement and student enrichment.
Alumni interested in representing their organization can register here. They may also contact Jonathan Lee at firstname.lastname@example.org or Toni McLawhorn at email@example.com. As space is limited, alumni are encouraged to sign up early for a table.
Students are invited to attend this free event throughout the evening.
