A Walk In Their Shoes, an annual domestic violence awareness and education event, is free and open to students. Organizers particularly encourage students interested in health care, forensic science, social work, law enforcement or legal fields to attend.

Organizers with the Roanoke Valley Violence Prevention Council particularly encourage students interested in health care, forensic science, social work, law enforcement or legal fields to attend this year's sessions.
The full schedule for the event follows below. Lunch is included. This year's gathering will be held at the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at VTC, 4 Riverside Circle, Roanoke, VA. Free parking is offered in the institute's garage.
