Judge Elizabeth Dillon, chief federal jurist for the Western District of Virginia, and Andy Klein, dean of Wake Forest University School of Law, will be on campus to host a program for college and high school students interested in law and pre-law tracks. This event is part of Roanoke College's Pre-Law Week.

This event is part of Roanoke College's Pre-Law Week. Prior to the program, a private lunch will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. for Roanoke College students, offering an opportunity to meet and engage directly with Judge Dillon and Dean Klein about law school and law in general.

Judge Dillon is the chief judge for the U.S. District Court in the Western District of Virginia. She was appointed to the bench by the U.S. Senate in 2014, becoming the first woman to serve as a federal judge in the Western District. She had previously practiced law in both state and federal courts, as well as before regulatory agencies, and was an assistant city attorney for Roanoke. She earned her law degree from the Wake Forest University School of Law.
Dean Klein was appointed to his position at the Wake Forest University School of Law in 2023 after holding high-level leadership posts at Indiana University, Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, and Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. A noted scholar in tort and environmental law, he has published widely and co-authored multiple textbooks.
