Join the Roanoke College Alumni Association Book Club with special guests President Dr. Frank Shushok Jr and First Lady Reverend Kelly Shushok as we discuss "BearTown" by Fredrik Backman.

We are excited to announce that President Dr. Frank Shushok Jr and First Lady Reverend Kelly Shushok will be joining us for our Book Club discussions in September!

They have chosen two books for the group to read and will lead the conversations about each. 
The Zoom call for the first book is scheduled for the following time:

"BearTown" by Fredrik Backman

"BearTown" is the riveting and gritty story of values, virtues, and vices that motivate people
and also shape their community.  Like a good therapist, it probes the reader time
and again with the self-reflection question, “Who/how/what would I want to be in this story?”
