Teresa Gereaux, gereaux@roanoke.edu false MM/DD/YYYYJoin us for an evening celebrating Black history and community! We'll begin with dinner at a local, Black-owned restaurant (covered by the college) before heading to the Roanoke Public Library for a 6 p.m. screening of The Butler.
The Butler chronicles decades of American history through the life of a White House butler who served multiple U.S. presidents, offering a powerful lens into civil rights, political change, and generational legacy. The screening is part of Roanoke Public Libraries’ Black History Month film series honoring Black excellence, resilience, and history.
Transportation will be provided. Sign up now to reserve your seat.
