Reformation 500 Anniversary celebration I $20
Bonhoeffer and Luther, Dr. Michael DeJonge, University of South Florida
Elderscholars are invited to a served luncheon with visiting guest lecturer, Dr. Michael DeJonge, a professor at the University of South Florida. He will speak about one of Martin Luther's most famous 20th century disciples, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a martyr under the German Nazis and his relationship to the Reformation legacy. DeJonge's visit is sponsored by the Blakely Endowment.
Advance registration is required and accepted on a first come, first serve basis beginning Aug. Registration is accepted by mail or online only. If delivering your registration in person, the Community Programs office has moved to Douglas W. Ayres Hall (Resource Development) at the corner of College Avenue and Clay Street.

Tuesday Series: Sept. 12 - Oct. 10, noon - 2 p.m., Colket Center Pickle Lounge, $75
Wednesday Series: Sept. 13 - Oct. 11, 11:45 a.m. - 2 p.m., Colket Center Pickle Lounge, $75
Price includes five lectures and five lunches. Attend both days and receive a $5 discount.

The Elderscholar Program is a five-week lunch and lecture series for adults 55 and older, featuring, Roanoke College faculty and guests speaking on areas of their expertise. Following each lecture, there will be a time for questions and answers. Lunch in the Sutton Commons follows.
Banquets are back! In addition to the lecture series, the fall program will feature two anniversary banquets.
Participants may register separately for the anniversary banquets, or in addition to the lecture series. Participants are not required to sign up for the lecture series to attend the banquets.
