Teresa Gereaux, gereaux@roanoke.edu false MM/DD/YYYYIt’s that time of year! Join us in celebrating members of the Roanoke College community who demonstrate a strong commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity through the Garren Awards, as part of our annual Heritage Ball. Named for Dr. Kenneth R. Garren, former Vice President and Dean of the College, this event honors his role in establishing the Office of Multicultural Affairs and his vision of creating spaces where students of all backgrounds can connect and grow as their authentic selves. Presented during the Heritage Ball, this tradition brings the campus community together for an evening of celebration, connection, and recognition. The Multicultural Committee will also share the newly selected student-informed name reflecting the future of the Office of Multicultural Affairs and will be available to answer questions about future multicultural programming.
We hope to see you there as we celebrate community, connection, and those who help make Roanoke more inclusive!
