The Illumination dates back to the inauguration of Roanoke's first president, David Bittle and each inauguration holds the illumination in a way that celebrates the theme. Our inauguration theme is community so we invite everyone to a celebration of light and giving thanks for our campus community - from our roots to our present and our future.
