Join the campus community in pausing to honor those who we lost on Sept. 11, 2001, including Steven “Jet” LaMantia ’85, an alumnus and Sigma Chi fraternity member who worked in the North Tower of the World Trade Center. 

The 22nd annual commemoration ceremony and flag raising will take place at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the on-campus memorial to LaMantia that stands outside the Sigma Chi house on Elizabeth Campus. The ceremony will include an invocation and benediction from Chaplain Bowen and remarks from alumnus Josh Mattox ’01, who was working in the World Trade Center on the day of the attack.
