Do you wish you could talk about important issues without feeling attacked or like you are attacking someone else? Join us for SpeakEasy, a program with the new civil discourse initiative to empower students to shape our community, creating a home where people of different ideas feel comfortable interacting and where we can live together in peace and with purpose. By learning how to talk about timely, often controversial issues, we will develop attitudes of intellectual and personal openness and skills that foster civil and productive conversation.

Share your opinion on this month’s topic: “Crossing the Line: What Constitutes Abuse of Power?” Come join us as we learn how to talk, listen, and learn with each other about how to practice civil discourse about important issues in our world.
