Teresa Gereaux, gereaux@roanoke.edu false MM/DD/YYYYDaniel James, founder and creative director of HERD Ventures, is a storyteller, photographer and self-described culinary anthropologist who was tapped to serve as documentarian for the Roanoke Foodshed Network. By capturing the stories of our region's farmers and food systems, his thoughtful work connects us to the people at the heart of our food economy — their struggles, commitment and ingenuity.
Join us as he takes us behind the scenes of his work and the mission of the Roanoke Foodshed Network. Formed in 2020, the foodshed network is a regional partnership dedicated to supporting our community's health by creating a more equitable and resilient food/farm system.
